Terri Nosack, RN, MBA Quality Management, CPHQ, Holistic Nurse

Terri Nosack

The word ‘transition’ speaks volumes to describe the experience and life journey of Holistic Nurse, Terri Nosack. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Nosack was among the first wave of female EMT/Paramedics to emerge in the Tacoma/Seattle region. Throughout nursing school and beyond, Nosack gained valuable experience working within Emergency, Trauma and Surgical specialties. Nosack joined the U.S. Army Nurse Corps in the mid-80’s where she served for seven years as a military officer, soldier, Army Nurse, and Desert Storm Veteran. Nosack quickly became an accomplished and respected RN leader, clinician, educator, change agent, and administrator. She married a career military officer and spent over two decades working, living and traveling across the United States, Europe and the Middle East. Nosack experienced first-hand the unique and richly diverse challenges that accompany a professional nursing career steeped in global perspectives, amazing life lessons, incredible blessings, and profound gratitude.

The first half of Nosack’s professional career evolved around continual change, adrenaline and climbing the career ladder. A few years ago Nosack pursued her dream to transition into Holistic Nursing, and opened a women’s retreat center in Ridgefield, Washington. ‘Reflections at Whipple Creek Farm’ is a sacred space committed to self-care, renewal and empowering the human spirit. Nestled in the countryside, the seven acre grounds and cozy English cottage provide a quiet respite from the demands of everyday life.

Nosack is a graduate of the American Holistic Nursing Association (AHNA) Holistic Nursing program, and serves as a Washington State Network Leader for AHNA. Nosack is also a Certified Holistic Stress Management Instructor, and serves as RN Planner for two AHNA endorsed workshop intensives produced by Holistic Stress Management expert, Brian Luke Seaward.

Recently, Nosack and RN colleague Debbie Nesbitt co-created and launched ‘SW Washington Holistic Health (SWWHH)’, which specializes in holistic education, interactive workshops and retreats, integrative healthcare partnerships, and Integrative Health Consulting. SWWHH also recruits national speakers, authors and presenters to the Vancouver/Portland area, to help inspire our community regarding the healing power of self-care, empowerment, Holistic Stress Management, and spirituality.

Nosack lives with her family on Whipple Creek Farm located in Ridgefield, Washington. In her leisure time, Nosack enjoys nature photography, hiking, star gazing on clear country nights, making Smores over a campfire, and harvesting fresh herbs, vegetables and fruits from the family garden.
